How excitng.
Goodness. I'm looking forward to all of these (except for, you know, the one's I've already read. Which are very look-forward-to-able).
Anyway...Vote. Explicate. The Dark Lord commands thee.
Excitedly...

(Or something like that)
Once upon a time, not so very long ago and not particularly far away (the Earth is only so big, you know), a little girl was born. Her parents named her Avery Trelaine, after her great (times seven) grandmother, who was a powerful sorceress (the kind that could [and would] turn you into a frog if you vexed her). They named her this in hopes that she would inherit the power that had been lost for generations. But she was no sorceress. She was just an ordinary girl. She skipped along the riverbank by her home, she bit her nails, she grew up. But most of all, she read. She loved to read, for words were magic of the most powerful sort. And so she, along with cousins Twyla (with whom she grew up) and Aislinn (with whom she had only been recently acquainted, as she had been raised by Unicorns and Wolves), created 3 Evil Cousins, hoping to contribute to the magic that she loved so very much. And to this very day she can be found in her not-particularly-far-away-town, reading and dreaming, pen in hand.

Which to put...Going Bovine or Suite Scarlett? In the end I put Going Bovine because I'm just SO curious about it.
Something that Avery didn't put on the list. But you are not stupid at all. Nay, you are a shining example of book-bloggery. A shining example of book bloggery who just so happened to forget to add Inkdeath (October 8th, mortal-types) to the poll.
Is that part of the Inkheart series? To be completely and totally honest with you, Aella, I haven't read that one. I picked up Inkheart a while back, thinking that it looked great...and I didn't like it. I know, right? Everybody seems to want to strike me down when I say that. I wish I liked what I read of it. But alas, I did not.
Avery Trelaine
Also, thanks. About the shining bit.

eh, i read Inkheart and Inkspell and didn't *love* them, so i get it. there's one of those things that i didn't love, but i can totally respect being really into.
ah, see, i voted for City of Ashes, obviously, but i'm almost over that, as it's almost out. (7 days by technical release date. *refreshes amazon order progress*)
after that, probably Going Bovine or The Good Neighbors.
It's alright. I fully understand. All folk have their opinions. I am very excited for Going Bovine as well.
MALICE!!!!!! ... Obsessed? Who me? Never...
Something Avery didn't put on the list, but not stupidly, I haven't heard much love for the previous books but, Breaking Dawn, one of the Twilight series, and second in line, Maximum Ride 4
Something Avery didn't put on the list. The last installment in Carrie Mac's Triskelia trilogy. It comes out sometime in May (I think) and I am beyond excited.
Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird, it's a plane...no it's a meme!

that is the worst poll ever! not because it's a bad poll, but because I'm really really indecisive and am looking forward to Paper Towns, City of Ashes, Suite Scarlett, Going Bovine, and multiple other books not on the list! ah! I picked Paper Towns though because the build-up is just so large surrounding John.
A New Challenger Approaches!
